Maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene is produced by extruding and grafting maleic anhydride onto polypropylene through reaction. Maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene can serve as a bridge to enhance the adhesion and compatibility between polar and non-polar materials. Adding maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene during the production of filled polypropylene can greatly improve the affinity between the filler and polypropylene as well as the dispersion of the filler. Therefore, it can effectively enhance the dispersion of fillers in polypropylene, thereby improving the tensile and impact strength of filled polypropylene.

Maleic Anhydride Grafted Polypropylene is used for interface modification of glass fiber and mineral-filled pp, significantly enhancing the adhesion between polypropylene and inorganic fillers such as glass fiber, talcum powder, and mica. It is also used as a compatibilizer for PA/PP and PA/PE blend alloys

① Significantly enhance the tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of the modified pp. Improve the coating property and spray painting performance of pp.

②Improve the processability and impact resistance of nylon, reduce water absorption rate, and enhance the dimensional stability of products.

③Improve the adhesion between polypropylene and polar materials (metals, nylons, etc.)
